Shuttles
All shuttles from the accommodation to the teaching location and back in and around Gutenstein will be provided free of charge for you between 9 a.m. and 7:30 p.m., except Wednesday, Aug 12 (welcome dinner!) between 9 a.m. and 9:30 p.m. 

Arriving Gutenstein by train
From Vienna you have a train connetion to Gutenstein or Pernitz with a changing of the train in Wr. Neustadt. From the train station Gutenstein or Pernitz you will have a free shuttle from us to your accommodation. Shuttle from and to Vienna City or airport
We offer a shuttle service on Aug 12 in the morning at about 9 a.m.  from Vienna to Gutenstein (costs: € 50.- per person and one way, siblings or student with 1 parent € 75.-) and a shuttle back to Vienna/Vienna Airport on august 17 at about 10.30 or later. Please book your travel accordingly!

Restaurant and catering options

  • The place where we offer practicing rooms and where most of the lessons will take place is called “Meierhof”. There we have a big kitchen where students may cook and prepare their individual food (except on the day of the concert).

  • A few meters away there is a supermarket called “Nah und Frisch”. (Monday - Wednesday: 7:15 a.m. - 12:15 p.m. and 3 p.m. - 6 p.m., Thursday: 7:15 - 12:15 a.m, Friday: 7:15 - 12:15 a.m. and 3 p.m. - 6 p.m, Saturday: 7:15 - 12.00 a.m.)

  • Restaurants in Gutenstein: 

    • Gasthaus Moser, Mariahilfberg
      (Monday 8:30 a.m - 5 p.m., Tuesday - Sunday 8 a.m. - 8 p.m.)

Cancellation conditions
In the event of cancellation for whatever reason, the course fee will be refunded till Aug 4, later only if you can provide a substitute participant! Once you have completed the registration process, the registration fee (€ 100.-) will no longer be refunded!

  • First meeting: Wednesday, aug 12 at 10:30 a.m. at the Meierhof Gutenstein, Markt 2, 2770 Gutenstein (introducing of applicants, schedule of classes, house rules, transfers and shuttles)

  • Wednesday evening: Welcome dinner for all students of the class Judith Fliedl (Violin), Anna Niemiec (Cello) and Piotr Kosic (Piano) at 6 p.m. at the Meierhof! 

  • Every student receives one individual lesson and one chamber music lesson every day. Further details will be announced soon!

  • Sunday, Aug 16, 2026

      1. 11 a.m. Chamber Music in the church Mariahilfberg

      2. General rehearsal at the Refektorium Servitenkloster Mariahilfberg, time will be announced by Mr. Kosic in cooperation with Judith Fliedl (violin) and Anna Niemiec
        (Cello) in time.

      3. 4 p.m.: Concert of the cello class Anna Maria Niemiec together with the Violin class (Judith Fliedl) and the piano class (Piotr Kosic) at the Refektorium Servitenkloster!

Über Anna Maria Niemiec, MA

Anna Maria Niemiec wurde in Polen geboren, übersiedelte im Alter von 3 Jahren nach Österreich und begann dort ihre musikalische Ausbildung. Ihre besondere Leidenschaft gilt der zeitgenössischen Musik, was bereits zu Arbeit mit Komponist:innen wie Wolfgang Rihm, Georg Friedrich Haas, Jörg Widmann, Johannes Maria Staud, Petra Stump-Linshalm, Flora Geißelbrecht oder Bernhard Gander, sowie zu zahlreichen Uraufführungen führte. 2018 debütierte Anna Maria Niemiec im Rahmen von Wien Modern als Solistin im Großen Saal des Wiener Konzerthauses.

Zahlreiche solistische sowie kammermusikalische Konzerte führten in bekannte Säle wie den Gläsernen Saal des Wiener Musikvereins, den Großen Saal des Wiener Konzerthauses, die Philharmonie Paris, die Philharmonie Kiev, die Philharmonie Opole, das Radiokulturhaus Wien, das Arnold Schönberg Center, das Schloss Esterhazy Eisenstadt, sowie nach Deutschland, Italien, Portugal, Spanien, Frankreich, Dänemark, Georgien, Polen, Ungarn, Slowakei, die Türkei, die Ukraine und die Schweiz.

Anna Maria Niemiec ist Preisträgerin zahlreicher Wettbewerbe (zB. 'Fidelio Spezial', `Concurso Internacional de Cidade de Lagoa’, 'Duc de Richelieu', 'Prima la musica', 'Fidelio Krea􏰁on'), Art Scholar des Europäischen Forum Alpbach, Mitglied der "Yehudi Menuhin Live Music Now Foundation", Stipendiatin des 'Bank Austria Kunstpreises' und des 'New Austrian Sound of Music'.

Ergänzend zu ihrer solis􏰁schen Tä􏰁gkeit befasst sie sich vermehrt mit Kammermusik, was bereits zu Zusammenarbeit mit Ensembles wie Ensemble Intercontemporain (Paris), ensemble XX. jahrhundert, Quasars Ensemble ua. führte.
Seit 2015 ist sie, gemeinsam mit Lorina Vallaster an den Blockflöten, als Mitglied von 'Baubo Collective' aktiv. Einerseits widmet sich das Duo verstärkt dem eigenen Entwickeln und Entstehen von Stücken in enger Zusammenarbeit mit zeitgenössischem Tanz, andererseits entsteht in Kooperation mit Komponist:innen eine Vielzahl von neuen Stücken für die ungewöhnliche Besetzung. Desweiteren konzertiert Anna Maria regelmäßig mit dem Pianisten Piotr Koscik, ist Mitglied des Trio ‚TERREA‘ mit Sarvin Hazin und Amir Ahmadi, des ‚Duo Echo Flava‘ mit Rosa Franziska Maier, sowie des Celloduo „Maeranti“ mit Margarethe Vogler. Darüber hinaus hat Anna Maria vier Jahre lang als Cellis􏰁n des Ensembles 'Trio Immersio' gewirkt und 2016 die CD '3' mit Werken von J.Haydn, J. Brahms, F. Schubert und B. Gander aufgenommen.

Ihre musikalische Ausbildung begann sie im Alter von sechs Jahren in der ZMS Neusiedl am See bei Joyce Flynt-Visne. Ab dem 10. Lebensjahr besuchte sie den Vorbereitungslehrgang des Joseph Haydn Konservatoriums Eisenstadt bei Prof. Stefan Kropfitsch, vier Jahre später wechselte sie an die Universität für Musik und darstellende Kunst Wien. Einen großen Einfluss auf ihre cellistische Entwicklung ha􏰂e ein Jahr intensiver Zusammenarbeit mit Prof. Tomasz Strahl in Warschau.

Seit 2012 war sie Studentin der Musik und Kunst Privatuniversität der Stadt Wien (MUK) in der Klasse von Prof. Lilia Schulz-Bayrova, wo sie mit Auszeichnung 2017 ihr Bachelorstudium und 2020 ihr Masterstudium abschloss. Aktuell absolviert Anna Maria einen weiteren Masterlehrgang (Ensemble Neue Musik) an der Universität für Musik und darstellende Kunst Wien bei Andreas Lindenbaum (Klangforum Wien).

Seit Jahren nimmt sie regelmäßig an renommierten Meisterkursen in Österreich und im Ausland teil, wo sie unter anderem mit den Professoren Philippe Muller, Menahem Pressler, Jeroen Reuling, Jontscho Bayrov, Sergei Slovachevsky, Conradin Brotbek und Ventsislav Nikolov zusammenarbeitete. Wichtige künstlerische Anregungen erhielt sie auch von Éric-Maria Couturier (EIC), Alexis Descharmes (Quatuor Dio􏰁ma), Dimitrios Polisoidis, Pavel Vernikov, Gerhard Schulz und Alexander Zemtsov.

Als Pädagogin war Anna Maria Niemiec bereits seit 2014 an den Musikschulen ‚Klanghorizont‘, ‚VIMAC‘ sowie privat tätig. 2022/23 war sie auch als Karenzvertretung in der Musikschule Region Wagram angestellt. Seit 2023 leitet Anna Maria Niemiec Cello- und Kammermusikklassen an den Musikschulen Eisenstadt und Hornstein.
2021 hielt sie Workshops an der Musik und Kunst Privatuniversität der Stadt Wien, war beim Europäischen Forum Alpbach als Seminarleiterin tätig und ist Dozentin des Jugendsinfonieorchesters Burgenland.
